The Chicago Network Website

Communicate the Identity and Mission of the Organization for Chicago’s Most Powerful Women Leaders

In 2018, The Chicago Network rebranded as it celebrated its 40th year. They created a new visual identity to mark the occasion and several exciting endeavors, events, and programs. To promote and explain this, The Chicago Network brought in LimeRed to help tell their story and create a new website to communicate and position their new brand and anniversary.

Messaging

To understand current and prospective members’ needs, we developed surveys and held workshops with key staff and stakeholders to gather insights. This work informed the website design, copy, SEO, and other messaging.

Web Design & Development

We translated their new identity for the web — carefully considering web accessibility standards. The new site positioned The Chicago Network as highly professional, contemporary, and approachable.

This website redesign is about positioning the organization as the premier membership for Chicago’s most influential women. We proposed telling individual member stories for the 40th anniversary to show how they have improved the state of women and business in Chicago. This informed how we organized the member profiles section and developed a new section called Leader Stories, highlighting members’ accomplishments and serving as content for the 40th-anniversary event and social media.
