Marketing Intern

We’re a Certified B Corp and WBE and we’re looking for someone who aligns with our commitment to do meaningful work that challenges the status quo.

We’re looking for a part-time Intern to join our team — a proactive, self-starter, with a penchant for learning and collaboration who wants to do mission-driven work. You will help us with the details, assisting our Brand Activator, Operations Manager, and Principals.

 

The ideal candidate would be in the Chicago area available to work in the Ravenswood office and also remotely. This person should be comfortable working as a part of a small team that collaboratively handles strategy, design, and development. We work 9ish to 5ish and offer exceptional work/life balance. This is a paid internship.

 

Our staff juggles internal and external projects daily within a rigorous project management process. We have a lot of fun together and expect the highest quality work from everyone. We are looking for someone who:

 

Social media management

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media and digital content strategies.
  • Manage daily posting and community engagement across LimeRed social media and other digital communications channels to increase brand awareness, engagement, and influence.
  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars and organization systems.
  • Development, plan, and design LimeRed monthly newsletters.
  • Monitor and measure channels to improve content performance and effectiveness.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of trends and updates across social media, email marketing, brand strategy, B Corporation, and social/environmental impact space.

Podcast production and promotion

  • Work with the design team to organize and schedule content for new episode releases.
  • Lead outreach and scheduling for new interviews.
  • Publish new episode write-ups on LimeRed blog.
  • Coordinate and maintain production and content calendar. 
  • Development, plan, and design email launches for new episodes.
  • Edit podcast interview transcripts to shape a concise, compelling story.
  • Communicate regularly with podcast interviewees to keep them informed and aware of what is expected.
  • Assist with events
